My name is Jones Ajayi. I'm Irish-Nigerian, a Software Engineer, and a proud indigene of Ibadan, Nigeria.
I have always believed that technology should do more than simply solve technical problems. Whenever possible, it should make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Most of the projects I undertake come strictly by invitation, or because I believe they can contribute something positive to humanity.
Pray4me.ng was never part of my original plan. It wasn't on my radar, and I certainly didn't wake up one morning with the intention of building a prayer platform.
But, as I have come to understand, the Lord has His ways.
Prayers Are Free
Let me make something absolutely clear: Prayers are free, and they always will be.
You do not need Pray4me.ng, a pastor, or anyone else to speak to God on your behalf. I believe that when you pray sincerely, with faith, God hears you.
But there is something special about hearing another person pray specifically for you.
A personal voice. A sincere message. Someone taking a moment to speak words of hope, encouragement and blessing over your life.
It feels different.
That feeling is part of what inspired Pray4me.ng.
I'm Not Running a Church
I am not a pastor, and Pray4me.ng is not a church.
I am simply a Software Engineer trying to use the gifts God has given me in a different way — hopefully, one that brings comfort, encouragement and a positive impact to other people's lives.
I make no promises of miracles or particular spiritual outcomes.
I believe in the power of prayer, but the rest is in God's hands.
Start by Listening
The Community Prayers are free to hear. Join, listen to a few, and take a moment with them. See how they make you feel.
And please, let me know about your experience.
Pray4me.ng is still growing, and your feedback will help shape what it becomes.
This project started with an unexpected act of kindness and a recorded prayer.
Perhaps, together, we can turn that small beginning into something that touches many more lives.
Thank you for being part of the journey.

Why P4ME?
The voice message that inspired meRecorded in English and Yoruba, and shared with thanks. Press play to hear the prayer that started it all.English translation for non-Yoruba speakers
Part 1 — Gratitude and appreciation
Madam, I want to say a very big thank you. In fact, I don't even know how to thank you. But I know God will help me to say thank you. Thank you so much, sir.
God has used you to answer my prayers. And God will answer your prayers too. God will send help to you. Help will arise for you in places that you don't even expect.
God will ensure, He will see to it, that your joy is full. Everything that you ever desire, the Almighty God will grant unto you. Timely help will arise for you. Timely help, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Thank you so much, sir. I love you. God bless you.
Part 2 — Personal blessings and Yoruba prayers
Thank you, my dear. You will never, you will never be stranded in life. You will never go down. The hand of God will be upon you.
He will lift you. God will lift you up. The Lord will elevate you. He will lift you higher.
Wherever God has destined you to reach, He will take you there. In glory and in destiny, the Lord will not allow you to fall short of your appointed place. You will excel above all.
The Lord will bless you abundantly. He will keep you. And His countenance will continually shine upon you.
Thank you very much, sir. The Lord bless you, sir. Thank you.
Part 3 — Final Yoruba prayers and biblical blessing
Best-effort translation; some Yoruba expressions are indistinct.
Thank you, sir. I am deeply grateful. May God continue to bless you for what you have done. In the name of Jesus.
May you never lack what you need. May your life continue to move forward. May the Almighty God open doors of blessings and opportunities for you. May you continue to rise and never fall. May the light of God shine upon your life.
The Bible says that the path of the just is like a shining light, that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day. Your path will continue to shine more and more, in the name of Jesus.
It shall be well with you, sir. Thank you, sir. God bless you.
It began with a phone call I almost didn't take.
A friend of my brother was going through a difficult season and needed a hand with something I happened to be able to help with. It wasn't anything grand. I did what I could, the way you do for family and for the people your family loves, and then I went back to my work. As far as I was concerned, that was the end of it.
A few days later, a voice message arrived.
A Message I Did Not Expect
I expected a quick "thank you". Instead, I heard him pray.
He prayed for me by name. He prayed for my family, for my work, for my health and for the plans I hadn't told anyone about. His words were unhurried and sincere. He wasn't performing for anyone — he was simply speaking to God on my behalf, and I was allowed to listen.
I played that message more than once. Something in it reached a place in me that a thousand kind text messages never could. I had prayed for myself many times, and I know God hears me. But hearing another person stand in the gap for me, in his own voice, was different. It was comfort I could hold on to and return to.
The Question That Would Not Leave Me
Over the following weeks, one question kept coming back:
Why can't more people have this?
So many people are carrying something heavy — illness, loss, exams, a job, a marriage, a child far from home — and have no one to pray with them in that moment. And many people who would gladly pray for others have no safe, simple way to do it.
I also knew the risks. Prayer can be misused. People can be pressured, exploited or promised miracles. Personal details can end up in the wrong hands. If something like this was going to exist, it had to be built carefully, or not at all.
Building a Safe Place for Prayer
That is where my work as a Software Engineer met that voice message.
I began to imagine a safe ecosystem for prayer:
A place where you can share what is on your heart, privately, without exposing your phone number or address to strangers.
A place where every Pastor and Prayer Partner is verified before they ever receive a request.
A place where every request and every recorded prayer is checked by a real person before it reaches anyone.
A place with no private chats, no requests for money, no promised miracles — just sincere prayer, offered with care.
Why P4ME
Pray4me.ng is my own idea, and my answer to that question. That voice message did not hand me a plan — it gave me the inspiration. The rest grew from years of building software and from a simple conviction that technology can serve something deeper.
It is my way of passing on what I received that day: the gift of hearing someone pray for you. It began with a small act of kindness and a recorded prayer. My hope is that it becomes a place where many more people can feel what I felt — that they are seen, remembered and lifted up in prayer.
